Monster High Toy Set
The Monster High Doll Set is a Halloween treat that won’t cause cavities and one that your little daughter will absolutely love. In case you are not familiar with the Monster High dolls, these were released by Mattel around June of this year and have become the ” I gotta have one too” toy for many daughter’s.
A Monster High doll set consists of the doll, of course, which is essentially a Barbie-sized teenage monster doll that is apparently based on a character from a classic horror movie and boasts bendable arms and legs, the pet of that doll, a diary, other small accessories, and a doll stand. Included on the back of every doll’s package is short spill about the biography and background of the doll.
Monster High Collection
Making up this horror fantastic Mattel collection so far: Draculaura, daughter of Dracula; Laguna Blue, daughter of the Sea Monster; Clawdeen Wolf, daughter of the Werewolf; Frankie Stein,
daughter of Frankenstein; and Cleo De Nile, daughter of the mummy, and Deuce Gorgon, son of Medusa, who are sold as a set… they seem to be the “it” couple at Monster High. Each doll bears characteristics that ties him other to the monster parent. Frankie Stein has stitches, Clawdeen Wolf sprouts fangs and ears, and Laguna Blue is adorned with fins. And, as stated earlier, each doll has its respective pet. For example, Draculaura has a pet bat, and Cleo De Nile looks after a pet serpent.
Monster High Set Safety
Mattel does suggest the Monster High Doll Set for children over the age of six and above due to the small pets and accessories and the fact that the limbs of the dolls are removable. Yes, that is correct; the hands and arms on Monster High dolls are removable. Why? Well, the dolls are monsters, and that supposedly speaks for itself; however, more practically, owners of the dolls suggest that it does make it easier to change the clothes.
Monster High Accessories
In addition to the Monster High Doll Sets, Mattel has manufactured various other Monster High toys, such as stuffed dolls, furniture, strollers, and has even created a Monster High website, complete with character bios, games, downloadable music, and even Monster High webisodes. As of this writing, there are fifteen webisodes that can be watched.
Monster High Novel
Monster High, the novel, was released September 1, 2010, the sequel is expected in September 2011, and subsequent novels are expected in the years following. As with most books and movies,
the collection of associated products is likely to expand over time.
Other characters that appear on the Monster High website and in webisodes include Ghoulia Yelps, Holt Hyde and Jackson Jekyll; all of these characters are sure to appear as collectible dolls in the future.
These dolls are in high demand and will without a doubt generate joy and laughter this holiday season.
