Loopz 7 Mode Music, Memory and Reflex Skills Building Game
Without a doubt Loopz has become one of the most eagerly anticipated toy gadget games for the fastly approaching holiday season. So what is everyone so hyped about? Loopz was created with children ages 7 and up in mind. Loopz contains 4 semicircular slots on a perpendicular stand. Different colored lights combined with built-in motion detectors are associated with each slot, allowing you to play the various challenges offered by the game.
Some of the reviews by various gaming magazines are calling this the must have toy of the holiday season. Not only fun, but the game is beneficial in that it will enhance the memory and reflexes of the players. There are seven different modes that can be played and it will support up to four participants at a time. The 7 different modes are “Music Studio”, “Reflex Master”, “Repeat the Beat”, “Rhythm and Flow”, “Free style DJ”, “Musicology”, and “Versus Mode”.
This is an overview of what each of the play modes the Loopz game has to offer.
Music Studio: As one might guess, it is a mini Music studio. This mode allows you to select one of several instruments, each capable of making 10 distinct sounds. You can create your own music by passing your hands through the arcs or semi-circles called loopz.
Reflex Master: The object of this mode is to test your reflexes. Up to 4 people can engage in this activity in this mode and the object is to “tag” or touch as many lights as possible within a 30 -second time frame. This mode is excellent for improving a person’s reflexes.
Repeat the beat: This falls along the lines of the old memory game Simon Says. The rules are easy and require one to repeat patterns exactly as the machine gives them to you. As you go, the speed increases and the patterns become more complex. Make one mistake and you are out of the game.
Rythm and Flow: This mode is pretty much like “Repeat the Beat.” The object of the game is to keep up with the rhythm and beat of the song by waving your hands through the semi-circles. If the player slips up, the song ceases to play and requires the player to start again from the beginning. Three levels of difficulty are available in this mode and only one player can participate at a time.
Free Style DJ: With this mode the player will be able to choose his or her track by waving their hands in the semi-circles.
Musicology: This mode allows the player to build songs by completing patterns. If you can make it through 5 patterns successfully, the song will be completed. It is bit like a puzzle, but with music. This mode has 3 levels of difficulty.
Versus Mode: This is a 2 player mode where the object is to build the pattern as you play and it will not stop until one person makes a mistake. If you like straight up one on one competition, then this mode is ideal for you.
Overall Loopz promises to deliver loads of fun and excitement for the entire family. It is for anybody above the age 7, which moms, dads, aunts and uncles alike will all have great fun with it.
